Overview
New users of Automations can now enjoy a simplified, tailored onboarding experience on the Automations landing page. The page has been redesigned with AI-powered automation creation, visual guidance, and curated content based on your childcare center type.
From day one, you'll see examples and suggestions relevant to childcare enrollment, making it easier to understand how automations work and to set up your first automation quickly.
Getting Started
The landing page provides multiple paths to get started:
- AI Builder – Describe your automation in plain language and let AI create it for you
- Browse Templates – Choose from pre-built automations designed for childcare centers
- Create from Scratch – Start with a blank canvas and build exactly what you need
AI Builder
The AI Builder is prominently featured on the automations landing page, making it easy to create your first automation without any technical knowledge.
How to Use It
Simply describe what you want to automate in plain English using the "What do you want to automate?" prompt at the top of the page. For example:
- "When a tour request form is submitted, send a text to the family, wait 10 minutes for a response - if no response create a follow-up task, if they respond add them to the active tours list"
- "Send a welcome email when a family enrolls, then follow up 3 days later to check how their child's first week is going"
- "Remind parents 24 hours before their scheduled tour and create a task for staff"
Quick-start suggestions like "Parent Nurturing," "Tour Follow-Up," and "Enrollment Reminders" are available below the AI input to help you get started even faster.
Tailored Templates for Childcare Centers
When you first start with Automations, the platform customizes your experience based on childcare best practices. Everything from examples to suggested templates will align with enrollment, parent communication, and center operations.
Pre-Built Templates
We've added ready-made automation templates for common childcare scenarios:
- Tour request follow-up sequences
- Enrollment application reminders
- Waitlist communication flows
- Parent onboarding journeys
- Re-engagement campaigns for inactive inquiries
You can use these templates as a starting point and customize them to fit your center's needs, instead of building from scratch. Click "View All Templates" to browse all available options directly from the landing page.
New Layout with On-Page Videos
A "Learn About Automations" section with tutorial videos is built right into the landing page. You can scroll to find a template and launch it, or watch a quick intro video without navigating away.
Everything you need – templates to start with and learning resources – is available at a glance on the landing page.
