Quick Resubscribe for Parents Who Unsubscribe by Mistake

Parents can now easily opt back into your emails if they unsubscribe by accident. We've added a resubscribe link right on the unsubscribe confirmation page—no complicated process needed.

How It Works

When a parent clicks "unsubscribe" in one of your emails, they'll see a confirmation message. That same page now includes a "resubscribe" link they can click to opt back in immediately.

Clicking the resubscribe link removes their email from your Do Not Disturb (DND) list right away, so they'll start receiving your emails again.

Testing the Resubscribe Feature

Want to see how this works? Here's how to test it:

  1. Go to Email Marketing in your Enrollio dashboard
  2. Create and send a test campaign to a test contact (not a real parent)
  3. Open the email and click the unsubscribe link at the bottom
  4. On the confirmation page, click the resubscribe link
  5. Check your Contacts section and look at the DND list—the email should be removed

Note: Parents who resubscribe may still show as "unsubscribed" in your campaign statistics. We're working on fixing this display issue—but don't worry, they'll receive your emails.

Why This Matters for Your Center

Mistakes happen. A parent might click unsubscribe while trying to scroll on their phone, or they might change their mind after seeing what they're missing. This quick resubscribe option means you won't lose touch with families who didn't really want to opt out.
