This automation recipe shows you how to respond to Facebook comments automatically using Enrollio AI, and send direct messages to families who leave positive feedback.

What This Automation Does

When someone comments on your childcare center's Facebook post, this automation:

  • Generates a personalized AI response to the comment
  • Posts the response automatically
  • Analyzes whether the comment was positive or negative
  • Sends a follow-up direct message if the comment was positive

How to Set It Up

Step 1: Set the Trigger

Start your automation with the Facebook Comment on a Post trigger. This fires whenever someone leaves a first-level comment (not a reply) on your post.

Step 2: Generate an AI Response

Add an Enrollio AI action that sends the comment to the AI with a prompt like:

"Write a friendly, helpful response to this parent's comment about our childcare program. Keep it warm and professional."

Step 3: Reply to the Comment

Add a Reply in Comments action that posts the AI-generated response back to Facebook.

Step 4: Analyze Comment Sentiment

Add another Enrollio AI action that analyzes the original comment. Use a prompt like:

"Is this comment positive or negative? Respond with only 'positive' or 'negative'."

Then add a Split based on the AI response to create two paths in your automation.

Step 5: Send a Direct Message (Positive Path Only)

On the positive path, add a Send Message action to reach out via Facebook Messenger. Thank them for their kind words and invite them to schedule a tour or ask questions.

Pro Tips

💡 Customize your AI prompts: Update the prompts to match your center's voice and values. You can ask the AI to mention specific programs, use certain phrases, or address common questions.

💡 Test before going live: Leave a test comment on your post to see how the automation responds. Adjust your prompts until the responses feel natural and on-brand.

💡 Monitor your responses: Check your Facebook engagement regularly to make sure the AI responses are appropriate and helpful. You can always jump in manually if needed.

Why This Works

Parents research childcare centers on social media before reaching out. Responding quickly and personally to comments builds trust and shows you're attentive — even when you're busy running your center.

The direct message follow-up turns positive engagement into real conversations about enrollment.
