How to Filter Enrollment Opportunities
Enrollio's filtering tools help you find the right enrollment opportunities fast across busy pipelines. This guide explains filter types, operators, and common date presets so you can segment enrollments precisely.
What is Filtering Enrollment Opportunities?
Filtering narrows your list or board of enrollment opportunities to only those that match your chosen conditions. By combining fields (like Owner, Status, or Date) with operators (such as is, is not, or greater than), you can focus on the most relevant enrollments, speed up reviews, and cut through the noise.
Key Benefits of Filtering Opportunities
- Faster reviews: Quickly isolate enrollments by owner, stage movement, or recent activity.
- Better prioritization: Focus on Open or recently updated opportunities to plan your family outreach.
- Higher accuracy: Use operators (equals, not equals, empty, not empty) to catch edge cases.
- Deeper insights: Slice by value, source, and custom fields to analyze your enrollment pipeline quality.
- Cleaner workflows: Save time by dialing in exactly what you need to see.
Filter Logic (AND/OR)
Logical operators determine how multiple conditions work together. Choose the logic that mirrors your question—narrow or broad.
- AND: Every condition must be met for each opportunity (narrow results)
- OR: At least one condition must be met for each opportunity (broad results)
You can change these filter conditions using the toggle in the top right of the filter sidebar.
Standard Filters Overview
Standard filters cover the most common fields and actions. Use them to sort by responsibility, progress, value, and activity recency.
- Owner: Select one or more staff members assigned to opportunities.
- Followers: Filter by staff following an enrollment opportunity.
- Status: Open, Won, Lost, Abandoned.
- Opportunity Source: is, is not, is empty, is not empty (enter value as needed).
- Campaign Type: Search and select a campaign type if you're using marketing campaigns.
- Opportunity Value: equal to, not equal to, less than, greater than, is empty, is not empty (enter numeric value).
Date-Based Filters
Date filters help you track recent changes and enrollment outcomes. Presets speed up selection and keep reports consistent.
Available date filters include:
- Last Stage Change Date: When an opportunity moved between pipeline stages
- Last Status Change Date: When the enrollment status changed
- Created On / Updated On: When the opportunity was first created or last modified
- Opportunity Won On / Opportunity Lost On: When you won or lost the enrollment
Each date filter offers these presets: Yesterday, Today, This Week, Last Week, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, This Year, Last Year, or Custom.
Custom Fields & Tags
Your center-specific fields power advanced segmentation. Any Opportunity Custom Field you add becomes available in filters with operators that match its data type.
Examples:
- Program Type (is / is not infant, toddler, preschool, etc.)
- Enrollment Fee (=, ≠, <, >, empty / not empty)
- Start Date Preference (date field)
- Tags (tour completed, sibling discount, waitlist priority)
- Time Tracked
