Dance studios can now streamline their automations with expanded support for dynamic fields in the Update Contact Field action. This makes it easier to keep student and parent records accurate without extra manual steps or duplicate workflow logic.

How to Use It
Add an Update Contact Field action in your workflow.
In the condition row, switch the right-hand input to Dynamic Value.
Select the earlier step’s output, choose the operator (number, date, or value), then save and publish.
Note: Select / Dropdown fields use option IDs (not display names). You can find IDs through exports or helper guides if needed.
Why This Matters for Dance Studios
Previously, teams often had to create extra fields or duplicate workflow logic just to compare against values calculated earlier in the workflow. Now, dance studios can:
Update contact records instantly based on parent or student responses.
