Verify Your Domain with Facebook Using a Meta Tag
Facebook (Meta) requires domain verification to ensure you have ownership of the website domains you're using in your ads and business activities. This verification helps protect your childcare center's brand and gives you more control over your content on Facebook.
Why Verify Your Domain?
Domain verification allows you to:
- Edit link previews when sharing your enrollment pages on Facebook
- Monitor and control how your content appears across Facebook
- Protect your domain from being used by others in their Facebook campaigns
- Enable Facebook Conversion tracking for your enrollment ads
Before You Start
You'll need:
- Admin access to your Facebook Business Manager account
- Access to your Enrollio account settings
- The domain you're using for your enrollment pages (e.g., enroll.yourchildcarecenter.com)
Note: This process verifies your domain with Facebook. You'll complete part of the setup in Facebook Business Manager and part in Enrollio.
Step 1: Get Your Meta Verification Tag
- Log into your Facebook Business Manager
- Click Business Settings in the top right
- In the left menu, under Brand Safety, select Domains
- Click Add and enter your enrollment page domain (without https://)
- Select Meta-tag verification as your verification method
- Copy the meta tag code Facebook provides

- Find the Facebook Domain Verification section
- Paste the complete meta tag code into the verification field
- Click Save

Step 3: Verify in Facebook
- Return to Facebook Business Manager
- In the Domains section, click Verify next to your domain
- Facebook will check for the meta tag (this may take a few minutes)
- Once verified, you'll see a green checkmark next to your domain

Troubleshooting
Verification Not Working?
Try these solutions:
- Wait and retry: Give it 15-30 minutes and click Verify again
- Check the tag: Make sure you copied the complete meta tag, including <meta name= at the start and /> at the end
- Clear your cache: Clear your browser cache and try the verification again
- Verify your domain is active: Make sure your custom domain is properly connected in Enrollio
Multiple Domains
If you use different domains for different enrollment pages or locations, you'll need to verify each domain separately using the same process.
What Happens After Verification
Once your domain is verified:
- You can edit how your enrollment pages appear when shared on Facebook
- You'll have better control over Facebook ad conversions and tracking
- Your domain is protected from unauthorized use in Facebook campaigns
Your verification stays active as long as the meta tag remains in your Enrollio settings. Don't remove it!
