Google Lead Form Extensions
Capture leads directly from your Google Ads campaigns using Google Lead Form Extensions and automatically sync them into Enrollio.
What Are Google Lead Form Extensions?
Google Lead Form Extensions let prospective families submit their contact information directly from your Google Ad—without leaving the search results page. When someone clicks your ad, a pre-filled form appears with their Google account details, making it incredibly easy for them to inquire about enrollment.
Enrollio can capture these submissions automatically using inbound webhooks, so every lead flows straight into your enrollment pipeline.
How It Works
When a parent fills out a Google Lead Form Extension:
- Google collects their information (name, email, phone, custom questions)
- Enrollio receives the submission via webhook
- The prospective family is automatically added to your contacts
- You can trigger automations to send follow-up texts, emails, or assign tasks to your staff
Setting Up Google Lead Forms in Enrollio
To connect your Google Lead Form Extensions to Enrollio, you'll need to configure an inbound webhook. This tells Google where to send the lead data when someone submits the form.
Step 1: Get Your Enrollio Webhook URL
- Go to Settings in your Enrollio account
- Click Integrations
- Find Webhooks and click Create Webhook
- Select Google Lead Forms as the source
- Copy the webhook URL that appears
Step 2: Connect Google Ads to Enrollio
- Log in to your Google Ads account
- Navigate to Tools & Settings > Setup > Lead form extensions
- Click the three-dot menu next to your lead form
- Select Download options
- Choose Webhook and paste your Enrollio webhook URL
- Click Save
Step 3: Test Your Integration
Before going live, submit a test lead through your Google Ad to confirm everything's working:
- Run a preview of your ad with the lead form
- Fill out and submit the form
- Check your Enrollio contacts to verify the test lead appeared
- Confirm any automations triggered correctly
Best Practices for Childcare Lead Forms
Keep it short. Ask for name, phone, email, and maybe one or two childcare-specific questions like "Child's age" or "Preferred program." The easier the form, the more submissions you'll get.
Set up immediate follow-up. Use Enrollio automations to send a welcome text or email within minutes of submission. Prospective families expect fast responses.
Route to the right person. If you have multiple locations or programs, use automation rules to assign leads to the appropriate staff member based on their responses.
Troubleshooting
Leads aren't appearing in Enrollio? Double-check that your webhook URL is entered correctly in Google Ads and that your webhook is active in Enrollio settings.
Duplicate contacts being created? Enrollio automatically merges contacts with matching email addresses. If you're seeing duplicates, the email fields may have slight variations (extra spaces, different capitalization).
Missing custom field data? Make sure any custom questions in your Google Lead Form are mapped to custom fields in Enrollio. You may need to create matching fields first.
