Text-to-Pay Links let you request and collect payments instantly via text message directly from a conversation. No website required!

What are Text-to-Pay Links?

Text-to-Pay Links are secure payment requests you send by text from within a conversation. They generate a checkout link so parents can pay in a few taps.

This reduces friction, speeds up collection, and keeps payment activity tied to the family's thread for easy follow-up and tracking.

Before You Start

Make sure you have these three things set up before sending your first Text-to-Pay Link:

  1. An active Enrollio Payments (Stripe) connection in your account
  2. An active phone number in your account
  3. At least one active product created

Pro Tip: Verifying these prerequisites prevents common setup issues and ensures links send and process correctly.

How to Send a Text-to-Pay Link

  1. Go to Conversations and open the conversation with the parent you'd like to send the payment link to.
  2. In the channel picker at the message box, choose SMS.
  3. Click Request Payment ($ icon) below the text editor.
  4. In the Request payment modal:
    • Select the product (or item) and confirm the price
    • Add a discount and/or tax if needed
    • Set a due date
    • Choose between Test and Live mode (use Test for practice runs)
  5. Click Preview to review the checkout experience, or click Copy link & Mark as sent.
  6. Click Send to send the text-to-pay link.

When the parent opens the link, they'll see a branded checkout page where they can complete their payment in seconds.
