Short-form videos are one of the most effective ways to connect with families on social media. Use Enrollio's Social Planner to schedule and post Facebook Reels directly to your childcare center's page.

How to Create a Facebook Reel

Step 1: Connect Your Facebook Account

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner
  2. Click Settings > Integrations
  3. Connect your Facebook account and grant the necessary permissions

Step 2: Create Your Reel

  1. Click Create New Post in Social Planner
  2. Select your Facebook Page as the posting destination
  3. Click the Reels tab
  4. Add your caption — share what makes your center special, highlight an activity, or welcome new families
  5. Upload one video file (specs below)
  6. Schedule your Reel to post at the best time for your audience

Pro Tip: Reels are only available for Facebook Pages. If you select a Facebook Group, your content will post as a regular feed post instead.

Facebook Reel Specifications

Make sure your video meets these requirements:

  • File size: Up to 1 GB
  • Duration: 3 seconds to 90 seconds (1 minute 30 seconds)
  • Video format: .MP4, .MOV, or .webm
  • Dimensions: 1080 x 1920 pixels (recommended) — minimum 540 x 960 pixels
  • Aspect ratio: 9:16 (vertical)

Note: Custom thumbnails are not supported for Facebook Reels. Facebook will automatically generate a thumbnail from your video.
