What is a Tuition Store?

A tuition store is your online hub for selling registration fees, tuition packages, uniforms, enrichment programs, and other childcare products or services. Parents can browse and purchase what they need directly from your enrollment site — no phone calls or paper forms required.

Setting Up Your Tuition Store

Here's how to create and launch your tuition store in Enrollio.

1. Create Your Products

Start by building the items you want to sell in your tuition store.

  1. Go to Payments → Products
  2. Click New Product
  3. Fill in your product details:
    • Product Name: Registration Fee, Summer Camp Deposit, Uniform Package, etc.
    • Rich Text Description: Add formatted descriptions with bold text, bullet points, or tables to highlight key details
    • Images and Videos: Upload multiple photos or videos to showcase your program or product
    • Pricing: Set your one-time price
    • Variants: Create options like sizes (Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K) or colors if needed — each variant can have its own price
  4. Toggle Show in Tuition Store ON to display this product in your store
  5. Click Save

Pro Tip: Not all products need to appear in your store. Toggle only the items you want parents to purchase online. Keep recurring tuition payments in your standard enrollment process.

2. Add the Tuition Store to Your Enrollment Site

You can add a tuition store to an existing enrollment site or build a new one from scratch.

  1. Go to Sites and open your enrollment site (or create a new one)
  2. In the page builder, click the + icon to add elements
  3. Select Tuition Store

When you add a tuition store, Enrollio automatically creates 5 essential pages:

  • Products Page: Displays all your products in a browsable catalog
  • Product Details Page: Shows full descriptions, images, videos, and variant options for each item
  • Cart Page: Parents review their selections and adjust quantities before checkout
  • Checkout Page: Parents enter shipping details (if needed), apply coupon codes, and pay via card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
  • Thank You Page: Confirms the order after successful payment

3. Customize Your Store Design

Make your tuition store match your brand by customizing each element.

  1. Click any store element on your page
  2. Use the General and Advanced settings panels to adjust:
    • Colors and fonts
    • Layout and spacing
    • Button styles
    • Background images
  3. Add other page elements (text, images, testimonials) around your store to create a complete branded experience

Pro Tip: For Featured Product and Collections elements, double-click an item directly on the canvas to map or review it quickly. Unmapped items will open the selection drawer automatically.

4. Track Orders and Payments

Monitor all tuition store activity from your dashboard.

  • View Orders: Go to Payments → Orders to see all purchases, including parent details and items ordered
  • View Transactions: Go to Payments → Transactions to see payment details and process refunds if needed

Sales receipts and payment confirmations are sent automatically. All order and payment triggers work with your tuition store, so you can set up automations based on purchases.

5. Fulfill Orders and Send Tracking Details

For physical products (like uniforms or supply kits), you can track fulfillment and keep parents updated.

  1. Go to Payments → Orders
  2. Click on an order
  3. Click Mark as Fulfilled
  4. Add tracking information:
    • Tracking number
    • Shipping provider (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.)
    • Tracking URL
  5. Click Save

Parents will receive an automatic email with the tracking details. Order fulfillment dates and tracking info are recorded in the order details.

Important Notes

  • One-Time Products Only: Your tuition store is designed for one-time purchases. Continue using enrollment forms and payment schedules for recurring monthly tuition
  • Existing Products: Products you created before adding a tuition store won't appear automatically. Toggle Show in Tuition Store ON for each product you want to display
  • Coupon Codes: Any coupon codes you've created work automatically in your tuition store
  • Automated Emails: Sales receipts, order confirmations, and payment notifications send automatically when parents make purchases

Editing FAQ Content

If you've added an FAQ element to your store page:

  1. Click the FAQ element in the page builder
  2. In the right-hand FAQ List panel, select the question you want to edit
  3. Update both the question and answer directly
  4. Click Save

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sell recurring tuition in my tuition store?

No, the tuition store is for one-time purchases only. Use enrollment forms and payment schedules for recurring monthly tuition payments.

I uploaded multiple images for a product with variants. Can I set a different image for each variant?

Not currently. All product images display regardless of which variant a parent selects. This feature is planned for a future update.

Can I set different prices for each product variant?

Yes! Each variant (like size or color) can have its own custom price. By default, variants use the base product price until you change them.

How do I delete my tuition store?

Delete any of the five auto-generated store pages, then confirm. This removes all store pages and configurations. Your products remain in Payments → Products.

Can parents track their orders?

Yes. When you mark an order as fulfilled and add tracking details, parents receive an automatic email with the tracking link. They can also view order status in their parent portal (if enabled).
