Custom Object Audit Logs
Track every change made to your custom objects with detailed audit logs. Whether you're managing specialized enrollment data, custom family records, or unique childcare program information, you'll have complete visibility into who changed what and when.
Audit logs capture creating, updating, and deleting actions across custom objects, their records, and associations — giving you peace of mind and accountability across your team.
What Gets Tracked
Custom Objects
Every time someone creates or updates a custom object structure in your account, it's logged. You'll see exactly when new data structures were added to support your unique childcare operations.
Custom Object Records
All actions on individual records are tracked — creating new entries, updating existing information, or removing outdated records. Perfect for maintaining data integrity across your enrollment records.
Associations
When you connect custom objects to each other or link them to parent and family records, those associations are logged. Updates and deletions are tracked too, so you always know how your data relationships have evolved.

📌 Pro Tip
Audit logs are retained for 60 days. If you need to investigate recent changes to your custom enrollment data or family records, check your logs regularly rather than waiting until an issue arises.
Why This Matters for Your Childcare Business
Custom objects let you track unique information for your center — specialized programs, custom enrollment stages, or family-specific data. With audit logs, you can:
- Troubleshoot data issues by seeing exactly when and how records changed
- Maintain accountability across your team when multiple staff members manage enrollments
- Ensure compliance by tracking changes to sensitive family information
- Identify training opportunities when team members make unintended changes
⚠️ Important
Audit logs are automatically deleted after 60 days. If you need long-term records of data changes, export or document critical log entries before they expire.
