Activity Section Upgrade

Learn how to navigate and leverage the redesigned Families → Activity section. This update brings new icons, date groupings, clickable cards, and enhanced performance to help you track every interaction with your families.

What's New?

The Activity section has been completely redesigned to give you a clearer, more intuitive view of all interactions with your families:

• UI Redesign: The layout now provides a clearer view of all activities associated with a family, complete with new icons that make it easy to identify different types of interactions at a glance.
• Date Groupings: Activities are organized under headings like "Today" and "Yesterday" so you can quickly see what's happened recently.
• Clickable Event Cards: Each card displays the title, timestamp, campaign or source labels, and links you can click for more details.
• Improved Performance: Backend improvements mean faster loading times and smoother interactions — no more waiting around.
• Responsive Design: The section works beautifully on both desktop and tablet screens.

Key Features

Real-Time Tracking: Stay updated with real-time activity tracking for all your families. See form submissions, page visits, and appointment bookings as they happen.

Detailed Event View: Get a comprehensive view of each activity, including timestamps, event type, and direct links to relevant pages or forms.

Event Logging: All activities are automatically logged and can be accessed anytime through the Activity section.

How to Access the Activity Section

First, make sure the feature is enabled. Go to Settings > Labs > Activity Section Upgrade and toggle it on.

Then follow these steps:

1. Go to Families in your main navigation.
2. Click on any family to open their profile.
3. Scroll to the Activity section.
4. Click any event card to see more details.
5. Click the link icon on any event to jump directly to the related page or form.

Tracked Events in the Activity Section

The Activity section tracks a wide range of events related to families and enrollment opportunities. Here's what you'll see:

Family Event Types

• Family Created: When a new family record is created in Enrollio.
• Appointment: When a family schedules a tour or consultation.
• Call: Records any calls made to or received from a family.
• Page Visit: Tracks when a family visits a page on your enrollment site.
• Trigger Link: Captures activity when a family clicks on a tracked link in an email or text message.
• Contact Form Submission: Tracks when families submit inquiry forms on your site (both one-step and two-step forms).
• Payment Form Submission: Tracks when families complete registration fee or deposit payments (both one-step and two-step payment forms).
• Form Submission: Records when a family submits any custom form you've created.
• Survey: Logs activity when a family completes a survey (like a parent satisfaction survey or post-tour feedback).
• Quiz: Captures data when a family completes a quiz (like a "Find the Right Program" quiz).
• Facebook Lead Form: Tracks when prospective families submit a lead form through your Facebook ads.
• Chat Widget Form: Captures submissions from families through the chat widget on your enrollment site.
