Getting Started with Companies
The Companies feature in Enrollio helps you manage relationships with partner organizations, vendors, and other businesses you work with. Instead of tracking everything contact-by-contact, you can organize information at the company level — perfect when you're working with multiple people at the same organization.
This is especially useful for childcare centers that partner with employers for corporate childcare programs, work with local businesses for sponsorships, or manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
What You Can Do with Companies
Create and Save Company Details
Add new companies to your database and keep all their essential information in one place:
- Company Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Website
- Address (including City, State, Postal Code, and Country)
- Description
Your entire team can access this information whenever they need it.

Create Custom Fields
Track information specific to your childcare business by creating custom fields. You might want to track:
- Number of employees (for corporate childcare partnerships)
- Contract renewal dates
- Partnership type (sponsor, vendor, employer partner)
- Annual commitment amount
Custom fields are easy to create and update, so you can capture exactly what matters to your business.

Customize Your List View
See only what matters to you. Click Manage Fields to choose which columns appear in your companies list.
For example, if you're managing vendor relationships, you might display Address and Phone Number. If you're tracking corporate partnerships, you might show Number of Employees and Contract Renewal Date.

Filter Your Companies
Use Advanced Filters to find exactly what you need. Filter by standard fields like City or Email, or use your custom fields to narrow things down.
Need to find all corporate partners in a specific city? Or all vendors with contracts expiring this quarter? Filters make it simple.

Sort Your Records
Click any column header to sort your companies. Sort by Company Name, City, State, or any other field to organize your data the way you need it.
Search Across All Fields
The search bar lets you find companies by any standard or custom field. Search by company name, phone number, or even specific custom field values.
As your database grows, you'll always be able to find what you need quickly.
