Overview
We’ve enhanced how Facebook and Instagram contacts are managed inside Enrollio to reduce duplicates and keep contact records unified.
Previously, when someone messaged your business on Facebook or Instagram and later shared their email or phone number, the system would append that data but still create a new contact—even if another record already existed with the same information. This often led to duplicate records and fragmented communication histories.
Now, when a contact enters through Facebook or Instagram and later shares an email or phone number that matches an existing contact, Enrollio will automatically merge them into one complete profile.
If the sub-account has enabled “Allow duplicate contacts”, the automatic merge will not occur.
What’s New
Facebook and Instagram contacts are now automatically merged if their email or phone matches an existing contact.
Prevents duplicate records and ensures all conversations and details remain in one unified place.
Automatic merging is skipped if “Allow duplicate contacts” is turned on at the sub-account level.
Why This Matters
This improvement ensures studios and businesses have cleaner, more accurate contact records. By unifying profiles, communication histories are easier to manage, and staff no longer need to spend time manually merging contacts.
