Why Your Facebook Connection Might Disconnect

Sometimes your Facebook integration can disconnect unexpectedly, interrupting your lead ads and parent messaging. This usually happens when you accidentally remove permissions while managing your Facebook account settings.

Common Ways Accounts Get Disconnected

Removing Enrollio Access in Facebook Settings

The most common cause is removing Enrollio from your Facebook Business Integrations. This happens when you're cleaning up old apps or reviewing permissions in your Facebook account.

To avoid this: Don't remove Enrollio from your Facebook Business Settings unless you intentionally want to disconnect the integration.

Changing Your Facebook Password

When you change your Facebook password, Facebook automatically revokes access to connected platforms for security. While this protects your account, it means you'll need to reconnect Enrollio afterward.

After changing your Facebook password: Go to Settings Integrations Facebook and reconnect your account.

Removing Team Members Who Connected Facebook

If a staff member who originally connected your Facebook page leaves and their Facebook access is removed, this can break the connection to Enrollio.

Best practice: Connect Facebook using an admin account that won't lose access, like your center's main Facebook Business Manager account.

How to Reconnect Your Facebook Account

  1. Click Settings in your Enrollio navigation
  2. Select Integrations from the left menu
  3. Find Facebook and click Connect
  4. Log in to Facebook and approve the permissions
  5. Select the Facebook pages you want to connect

Pro Tip: After reconnecting, check your lead ad forms and automations to make sure they're still receiving new parent inquiries. You may need to reselect your Facebook page in your automation settings.

Preventing Future Disconnections

  • Use a dedicated admin account: Connect Facebook using your business's main admin account, not a personal profile that might change
  • Review before removing apps: When cleaning up your Facebook integrations, verify what each app does before removing it
  • Document who connected what: Keep a note of which staff member connected your Facebook integration
  • Test after password changes: If you change your Facebook password, verify your Enrollio connection still works
