Overview
You can redirect parents to a specific web page after they sign your contract or complete a payment on an invoice generated from the contract. This creates a seamless experience — whether you're showing them a thank-you page, leading them to schedule their first day, or sharing important enrollment next steps.
1. Enable Global Custom URL Redirection
Set up a default redirect that applies to all your contracts unless you override it for a specific document.
Navigate to Documents & Contracts
In the left menu, go to Payments → Documents & Contracts.

Open Settings
Click the Settings button at the top-right (gear icon), then select Document Settings from the sidebar.

Toggle on "Redirect to a Custom URL"
Flip the switch to enable it globally for all contracts. Enter your URL (e.g., https://yourschool.com/welcome).
Choose whether to open the page in the existing tab or a new tab, then click Save.

Note: Global settings won't override a custom URL you add directly to a specific contract or template.
2. Set Up a Custom URL Per Contract
Override the global redirect for a specific contract — useful for enrollment agreements, field trip forms, or enrollment completion documents that need different next steps.
Create or Edit a Contract
From Documents & Contracts, open any existing contract or click + New to create one.
Open Contract Settings
At the top, click Settings → Document Settings.

Enable Redirect & Enter URL
Toggle on Enable redirection to custom URL. Enter your desired URL and select whether it should open in the same tab or a new tab.

Save Your Contract
Click Save or Send as needed.
3. Redirection After Payment
If you've enabled a payment option within your contract, the same redirect settings apply once the parent completes their payment.
- Global Setting: If enabled, parents are automatically redirected after payment is processed.
- Contract-Level Setting: If you've enabled and specified a URL for that specific contract, it takes priority.
Pro Tip: Use different redirects for enrollment contracts (→ parent handbook) versus field trip forms (→ what to pack guide).
4. Troubleshooting & Tips
Test Before Sending
Use the Preview option in your contract editor to confirm the redirect works as expected.
Override Logic
Contract-specific redirects always override global redirects. If you want to use only the global redirect, turn off or remove the contract-level setting.
Broken Links
Double-check your URLs include https:// at the beginning. Test the link in a browser before adding it to your contract.
5. Common Use Cases
Thank-You Pages
Direct new families to a personalized welcome page after they sign their enrollment agreement.
Next Steps
Prompt parents to complete onboarding tasks immediately after signing — like uploading immunization records or scheduling their child's first day.
Important Information
Share your parent handbook, what-to-bring list, or center policies right after contract completion.
Reviews
After families sign a completion agreement at the end of the year, redirect them to leave a review on Google or Facebook.
Example: Many centers redirect parents to a "What to Bring on Day One" page immediately after signing their enrollment contract — reducing first-day confusion and parent questions.
