Overview
When a prospective family messages you on Facebook Messenger, Enrollio automatically creates a contact record with the name Facebook provides. If the parent shares their email address or phone number during the conversation, Enrollio captures and stores it in their contact record — no manual data entry required.
How It Works
Enrollio monitors your Facebook Messenger conversations for contact information. Here's what happens automatically:
- Initial Contact Creation: When someone messages your childcare center on Facebook, Enrollio creates a new contact record using the name from their Facebook profile.
- Email Capture: If the parent types an email address anywhere in the conversation, Enrollio automatically saves it to the email field in their contact record.
- Phone Number Capture: Same goes for phone numbers — when a parent shares their number in the chat, it's automatically added to their contact record.

Why This Matters
This automation saves you time and ensures you can follow up with prospective families through their preferred channels. Once Enrollio has their email or phone number, you can:
- Send enrollment information via email
- Text them tour reminders
- Add them to nurture campaigns
- Track their journey through your enrollment pipeline
What Gets Captured
- Name: Pulled from the Facebook profile when they first message you
- Email: Any valid email address typed in the conversation
- Phone: Any phone number shared in the chat
All captured information syncs to the contact record in real-time, so you always have the latest details when following up with families.
