Adding Multiple Phone Numbers for a Parent or Family
Need to store more than one phone number for a family? Enrollio makes it easy to manage multiple contact numbers — from mobile to work, home, and emergency contacts. You can also set a primary number and assign labels for better organization.
What is the Multiple Phone Numbers Feature?
The Multiple Phone Numbers feature in Enrollio allows you to store up to 11 phone numbers for a single parent or family record. Each number can be labeled (e.g., Mobile, Work, Home, Emergency), and one can be marked as the primary number. This is especially helpful when managing families with multiple guardians or emergency contacts.
Key Benefits of Managing Multiple Phone Numbers
Managing several phone numbers for each family helps ensure your communication is always effective and well-organized:

- Set a primary number to prioritize outgoing communication
- Easily update or remove outdated phone numbers
- Improve accuracy in your automations and text campaigns
- Perfect for families with multiple guardians, emergency contacts, or authorized pickup persons

Use Cases for Multiple Phone Numbers
This feature is especially useful in childcare enrollment and family communication:
- Parent coordination: Store separate numbers for Mom and Dad to reach the right guardian quickly
- Emergency contacts: Keep grandparents, neighbors, or other emergency contacts on file
- Work vs. personal: Know when to reach parents on their cell versus work line
- Authorized pickup: Maintain contact info for anyone authorized to pick up a child
- Tour follow-ups: Save both parents' numbers for prospective families to increase your connection rate
- Billing contacts: Store a separate number for the family member who handles payments
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What happens if I don't set a Primary number?
The first number listed will automatically be treated as the primary number for outgoing calls and text messages.
