Overview

When texting parents from Enrollio, you can choose which phone number to send from. This helps you keep communications organized and ensures parents recognize your messages.

How to Select Your Sending Number

When composing a text message, you have full control over which number appears on the parent's phone.

Step 1: Open the Message Composer

Navigate to Conversations and click to start a new text message. Make sure you're on the SMS tab.

Step 2: Choose Your From Number

Click the From dropdown to see all available phone numbers. Enrollio will automatically select the last number you used to text this parent — keeping the conversation consistent.

Each number shows:

  • The friendly name you've assigned
  • Which staff member it's assigned to
  • Tags like "Default" or "Last Used" to help you choose

If you've never texted this parent before, your default number is automatically selected.

Step 3: Select the Parent's Number

If the parent has multiple phone numbers in their profile, click the To dropdown and choose which number to send to. Enrollio defaults to their primary contact number.
