Overview
This article shows you how to delete a phone number from your Enrollio account when you're using your own Twilio account.
Before You Start
Make sure you understand what happens when you delete a phone number:
- The number is released from your Twilio account
- Parents and families won't be able to reach you at that number
- Any text message or call automations using that number will stop working
- Someone else can purchase the number immediately
How to Delete a Phone Number
Step 1: Open Phone Number Settings
Click Settings in the bottom left corner of your Enrollio dashboard, then click Phone Numbers.

You'll see another prompt asking if you want to release the number from Twilio entirely:
To keep the number in your Twilio account:
Click NO. This removes the number from Enrollio but keeps it in your Twilio account with its current settings intact.
To release the number completely:
Type Release in the field and click Confirm Release. The number will be returned to Twilio and made available for others to purchase.
Restoring a Number You Didn't Release
If you chose NO in Step 4, your number is still in your Twilio account but disconnected from Enrollio. To reconnect it:
- Go back to Settings > Phone Numbers
- Click Add to reassign the number to your Enrollio account
