Overview

Want parents to see your childcare center's phone number when you call them? Setting up a verified caller ID lets you use your own business phone number for outbound calls instead of showing the Enrollio platform number.

This guide walks you through verifying your number and configuring it as your caller ID.

Note: This feature is available for Client Accounts using Enrollio's phone system. If you're using your own Twilio account, this process doesn't apply.

Step 1: Switch to the Right Client Account

If you manage multiple childcare locations, make sure you're in the correct Client Account.

  1. Click the account switcher in the top left corner
  2. Search for the location where you want to set up verified caller ID
  3. Click on the Client Account to switch to it

Step 2: Open Settings

Once you're in the correct Client Account, click Settings in the navigation menu.

Step 5: Verify Your Phone Number

Now you'll verify that you own the phone number you want to use as caller ID.

  1. Enter your business phone number in the field
  2. Click Verify Number
  3. You'll receive a phone call with a verification code
  4. Answer the call and enter the code when prompted

Once verified, your number will appear under the Verified Caller ID tab.

Step 6: Configure Your Enrollio Phone Number

Now that your number is verified, you need to tell Enrollio to use it when making outbound calls.

  1. Go to the Phone Number tab
  2. Find the Enrollio phone number you use for calls
  3. Click the three dots (...) next to that number
  4. Select Edit Configuration
  5. Enable Use your Verified Number as caller ID for outbound calls
  6. Choose your verified caller number from the dropdown
  7. Click Save

That's it! When you make calls to parents, they'll see your childcare center's phone number instead of the Enrollio platform number.

Important Limits and Notes

Verification Limit: Each Client Account can have up to 10 verified caller IDs by default. If you need more than 10, contact Enrollio support to increase your limit.
International Calling Note: Due to local regulations in India, calls from +91 caller IDs to +91 destinations won't work after August 1, 2024. If you operate in India, please reach out to support for alternative solutions.

Pro Tips

  • Use your main childcare center phone number as the caller ID so parents recognize your calls
  • If you have multiple locations, verify each location's phone number in its respective Client Account
  • Test your caller ID by calling your personal phone to confirm parents will see the right number
