Client Account Dashboard - View or Edit

Your dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of enrollment activity, parent engagement, and key metrics for your childcare business. Customize it to track what matters most to you.

What is the Client Account Dashboard?

Your dashboard is a customizable command center that shows up-to-the-minute insights about your childcare business. Whether you're tracking new enrollment opportunities, monitoring parent communications, or reviewing tour bookings, your dashboard keeps the most important information front and center.

The dashboard has two basic states and two modes you'll switch between.

Dashboard States and Modes

Dashboard States

With Widgets (1 or more) - Your normal dashboard view displays multiple widgets showing different metrics and activities. This is how most dashboards look day-to-day.

Without Widgets (0) - When a dashboard has no widgets yet, you'll see quick start options to help you add your first widget and get going.

Dashboard Modes

View Mode - Your standard working view where you can adjust date ranges and filters to analyze enrollment activity. This is where you'll spend most of your time.

Edit Mode - Temporarily switch to this mode when you need to rearrange widgets (drag and drop), add or remove widgets, or change the dashboard title and theme.

  • Click the "+" button to add new widgets
  • Click the three-dot menu on any widget to edit or delete it
  • Change the dashboard title or theme color

Pro Tip: Put your most important metrics at the top of your dashboard. Most childcare directors check enrollment opportunities and upcoming tours first thing each morning.

Every widget has a three-dot menu in the top right corner with options to:

  • Edit - Modify the widget's settings, filters, or display options
  • Duplicate - Create a copy of this widget
  • Delete - Remove the widget from your dashboard

Quick Filters

  • Popular enrollment tracking widgets

  • Tour and waitlist widgets
  • Staff performance widgets

Click any option to instantly add that widget to your dashboard.

Widgets in View Mode

In View Mode, widgets display your data in real-time. You can:

  • Click data points to drill into details

  • Export widget data (when available)
  • Refresh individual widgets

Most enrollment and parent-related widgets update automatically as new families inquire, schedule tours, or move through your enrollment process.

Widgets in Edit Mode

In Edit Mode, widgets show their management controls:

  • Drag handle icon for repositioning
  • Three-dot menu for editing or deleting
  • Resize handles (on some widget types)

Click "Done Editing" or the back arrow to return to View Mode and see your updated dashboard layout.

Pro Tip: Create separate dashboards for different needs: one for daily enrollment tracking, one for parent engagement metrics, and one for staff performance. Switch between them using the dashboard selection menu.
