What Is the Phone Dialer?

The Phone Dialer is your all-in-one browser-based calling interface in Enrollio. It brings together everything you need for parent and family communication—dialing, transfers, call notes, tagging, and even navigating automated phone menus—in one streamlined tool.

Whether you're calling prospective families, following up on tours, or connecting with current parents, the dialer makes every call faster and more organized.

Key Benefits of the Phone Dialer

The dialer is built to keep you focused on conversations, not platform mechanics:

  • Efficient Call Transfer: Transfer incoming and outgoing calls seamlessly to team members without switching screens.
  • Immediate Dialing: Click the dialer and start entering a number instantly—no delays.
  • Real-Time Contact Lookup: As you type, Enrollio suggests matching families from your database for quick selection.
  • One-Tap Access: View your family list and recent calls directly from the dialer interface.
  • Comprehensive Call Logging: Add detailed notes and tags after each call to track enrollment status, tour interest, or follow-up needs.
  • Full IVR Navigation: Use the dialpad during calls to navigate automated phone menus without hanging up.

Transfer Incoming Calls

Transferring calls is now just as simple for incoming calls as it is for outbound. Need to route a parent to your director or a specific classroom lead? The dialer handles it smoothly.

Enrollio automatically preserves call context during transfers, so your notes and tags stay linked to the correct family record.

Instant Dialing and Contact Search

Click the dialer icon and you're ready to call—the cursor is already in the number field. Start typing a phone number or name, and Enrollio searches your database in real time.

This instant search eliminates the need to hunt through your family list manually. Select a suggested contact and connect with one click.

Accessing Contacts and Recent Calls

The dialer includes dedicated tabs for Contacts and Recent Calls, putting your call history and family directory at your fingertips. Toggle between views with a single tap—no need to leave the dialing interface.

Use contextual filters to sort by call date, family name, or tag. This makes following up on tour requests or missed calls simple and organized.

Post-Call Notes and Tags

Capturing call details is essential for effective follow-up, especially when managing multiple enrollment conversations. After a call ends, the Recent Calls screen prompts you to add notes and assign tags.

Use tags to categorize calls by enrollment stage, tour interest, waitlist status, or anything else that helps you stay organized. All notes sync to the family's activity log automatically.

Pro Tip: Create standard tags like "Tour Requested," "Enrollment Ready," or "Needs Follow-Up" to quickly segment families and automate follow-up messages.

Dialpad Navigation for IVR

Automated phone menus don't have to slow you down. The dialer includes full dialpad support during live calls, so you can send tones to navigate IVR systems without leaving the call window.

Press the on-screen dialpad or use your keyboard to interact with menus. This keeps calls moving and prevents dropped connections.

Voicemail

The Voicemail tab is your dedicated inbox inside the dialer. It displays all voice messages left by families, complete with playback controls and full transcriptions.

Each voicemail appears as an interactive card, making it easy to listen, read, and follow up—all without leaving the dialer. This helps you triage messages faster and ensure no family inquiry goes unanswered.
