Dashboard widgets give you instant access to the metrics that matter most for your childcare business. Whether you're tracking new enrollments, tour bookings, or parent communications, customizing your dashboard helps you stay on top of what's happening across your center.

Adding Widgets to Your Dashboard

Step 1: Navigate to Your Dashboard

Log into Enrollio and click the Dashboard tab from the main menu. This opens your default dashboard view.

Step 2: Add a New Dashboard (Optional)

If you want to create a separate dashboard instead of modifying your default one, click the blue Add Dashboard button.

  1. Select "Select a Blank Dashboard"
  2. Give your dashboard a descriptive name (e.g., "Tour Activity" or "Enrollment Overview")
  3. Choose Private (only you can see it) or For Everyone (visible to all staff in your account)
  4. If creating a shared dashboard, set permissions for team members: Full access, Edit access, View only, or No access
  5. Click Confirm

You now have a blank dashboard ready to customize.

Click the Add Widget button to start adding data visualizations. If you're editing an existing dashboard, click the pencil icon in the top right corner first.

The widget menu opens on the right side of your screen.

Step 4: Choose Your Chart Type and Widget Category

Browse the available widget categories or use the search bar to find what you need.

  1. Select a chart type: Choose from Numeric, Donut Chart, Line Chart, Bar Chart, Horizontal Bar Chart, or Table
  2. Select a widget category: Pick the data you want to display (enrollments, tours, parent communications, etc.)
Pro Tip: The chart type picker is built right into the widget settings, so you can switch visualizations without leaving the editor.

Step 5: Customize Your Widget

In the Widget Settings panel:

  • Chart Type: Select or change how you want your data visualized
  • Title and Description: Add a clear name and optional description to help your team understand what they're seeing

The preview updates in real-time as you make changes.

Step 6: Apply Filters

Switch to the Conditions tab to filter your widget data and make it more relevant.

  1. Click Add Filter to create your first filter group
  2. Use +AND to add more filters within the same group (all must be true)
  3. Click +Add Filter again to start a new group (creates an OR condition between groups)

You can reuse the same filter (like "Lead Source") across different groups.

Important Note About Attribution Fields: If you're using attribution fields like Session Source or Session Medium in your Group By or View By options:
  • Only one filter group is allowed
  • That filter group must include the Attribution Type (First Touch or Last Touch)
  • Multiple filter groups will disable attribution-based fields in the dropdown

This ensures your attribution data stays accurate.

Step 7: Save Your Widget

Once everything looks right, click Save to add the widget to your dashboard.

Step 8: Add More Widgets

Build a complete view of your center's performance by repeating this process. Add widgets that track different aspects of your enrollment process, parent engagement, and operational metrics.

Step 9: Organize Your Widgets

Drag and drop widgets to rearrange them. Resize them by dragging the corners to make important metrics more prominent.

Click Save Changes at the top of the dashboard. Your new layout is now saved and ready to use.
