Enrollio AI Bots Can Now Respond to Images

Give your bots the ability to see and understand images with Enrollio AI Image Response. Your AI can now interpret and respond to parent-shared images across chat, social media, and text messages—making enrollment conversations faster and more helpful with fewer back-and-forth questions.

What is Enrollio AI Image Response?

Enrollio AI Image Response lets your bots understand images that parents and prospective families share—like enrollment forms, tour availability screenshots, payment receipts, or photos of completed paperwork. The bot analyzes what's in the picture and responds with context-aware messages that keep the conversation moving forward.

When families send a supported image, your bot instantly analyzes the picture and uses that visual context to craft a helpful reply that fits naturally into the conversation.

Key Benefits of Enrollio AI Image Response

Visual problem-solving: Analyze screenshots, receipts, enrollment forms, and photos to provide precise guidance to families.

Better support for common scenarios: Handle enrollment questions, tour scheduling, document verification, and payment inquiries more effectively when families can show you what they're seeing.

Faster resolution: Cut down on "Can you send a screenshot?" and "What does it say?" questions, getting families the help they need immediately.

Consistent experience everywhere: Provide the same helpful service whether families reach out through Live Chat, Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, WhatsApp, or text message.

Multi-image understanding: When parents send multiple photos together (like several pages of a form), the bot reviews them all and responds with one clear message.

More time for what matters: Let your bot handle routine image-based questions so your team can focus on tours, enrollments, and building relationships with families.

Supported Image Types

Use these commonly supported formats for the best experience across all channels:

  • JPG (.jpg)
  • JPEG (.jpeg)
  • PNG (.png)
  • HEIC (.heic) – coming soon

Where It Works

Families can share images from wherever they already message you:

  • Live Chat (on your enrollment site)
  • Facebook Messenger
  • Instagram Direct Messages
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS/MMS (U.S. & Canada)

Note: Image size limits vary by channel and carrier. For best results, check each channel's policies before expecting large or high-resolution images.

Multi-Image Support

Parents often need to send multiple pictures—like both sides of an insurance card or all pages of a form. Your bot handles this naturally.

When someone sends multiple images together, the bot analyzes them as a group and provides one clear response that references the relevant details. No fragmented replies or confusion.

Pro tip: Test with a realistic scenario—like a photo of a completed enrollment form or a screenshot of an error message—to see how naturally the bot responds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an extra fee to use Image Response?

No additional fee is required. Standard messaging rates and your Enrollio AI usage apply. Check your Enrollio plan details for complete pricing information.

What image size is supported?

Size limits vary by channel and carrier. Use JPG or PNG files within your channel's recommended maximum for best results. Check your messaging channel's media guidelines for specifics.

Will images sent during automated conversations be analyzed?

Yes. If an automation routes the conversation to a bot with Images enabled, any supported images that families send will be analyzed and responded to in the same thread.

Can I enable Image Response on some channels but not others?

The Images setting is configured per bot and applies to all channels that bot handles. To vary behavior by channel, route conversations to different bots with different settings.

Does this handle HEIC photos from iPhones?

HEIC support is coming soon. Until then, ask parents to resend as JPG or PNG, or have them adjust their iPhone settings to capture photos in a compatible format.

Why did the bot give a generic response to a photo?

Low image quality, heavy compression, or missing context can reduce accuracy. Ask the parent for a clearer image and suggest they include a brief note about what they need help with (for example, "the payment button isn't working").
