Install the Desktop App

Follow the steps for your operating system below. Installation takes just a few minutes.

macOS Installation

  1. Download the installer — Click the macOS download link above to get the .dmg file.
  2. Install — Open the .dmg file and drag the Enrollio icon into your Applications folder.
  3. Open Enrollio — Launch the app from Applications, Launchpad, or Spotlight search.
  4. Sign in — Click Sign In. Your default browser will open. If you're already signed into Enrollio in that browser, you'll be redirected back to the desktop app automatically. If not, enter your credentials and you'll return to the app once logged in.

Windows Installation

  1. Download the installer — Click the Windows download link above to get the .exe file.
  2. Install — Open the .exe file and follow the setup wizard.
  3. Open Enrollio — Launch the app from your Start menu.
  4. Sign in — Click Sign In. Your default browser will open. If you're already signed into Enrollio in that browser, you'll be redirected back to the desktop app automatically. If not, enter your credentials and you'll return to the app once logged in.

Using the Desktop App

Once you're signed in, the desktop app works just like the web version—you'll see all your families, enrollment pipelines, messages, and tours. The main difference is better performance and native notifications that appear in your system tray or notification center.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the desktop app different from the Enrollio web app?

No—your data and features are identical. The desktop app simply packages Enrollio in a dedicated window with better performance and native OS notifications. Any changes you make sync instantly across all devices.

Can I use multiple client accounts?

Yes. Sign in normally, then use the account menu to switch between client accounts if you manage multiple childcare locations or have access to different accounts.

What if I don't see notifications?

First, make sure you've enabled notifications for Enrollio in your operating system settings (System Preferences on Mac, Settings on Windows). Then check your notification preferences inside Enrollio to ensure the alerts you want are turned on.

Do I need to stay signed into my browser?

No. After your initial sign-in, the desktop app maintains its own session. You can close your browser and continue using Enrollio on the desktop.
