Understanding Loading States in Enrollio
Enrollio uses a modern spinner to show you exactly what's happening when pages load. This helps you understand whether the platform is starting up, fetching data, or running into issues.
What Loading States Mean
Initializing the Platform
When you first open Enrollio or navigate to a new page, you'll see the spinner start. This means the platform is loading the necessary data to display your dashboard, enrollment pipeline, or family records.
Loading Fresh Data
The spinner appears when Enrollio fetches updated information based on your actions. This happens when you refresh enrollment data, check new tour requests, or view real-time updates from families.
Retrieving Client Account Details
If you manage multiple childcare locations or client accounts, you'll see this loading state when switching between locations or loading specific account information.
Infinite Loading State
If a page doesn't load within 30 seconds, you'll see a "Click Here to refresh" prompt. This indicates something is preventing the page from loading correctly.
When you click this refresh button, Enrollio automatically clears your browser cache and sends error details to our team for analysis. This helps us improve the platform and makes troubleshooting easier for you.

If you've added custom CSS or JavaScript to your Enrollio account, it can sometimes interfere with the loading spinner and platform functionality.
Custom CSS Interference
Custom CSS changes the visual appearance of your pages. If your custom styling conflicts with the loader's classes or styles, you might see inconsistent animations or visual states.
Review your custom CSS to ensure it doesn't override the loader's intended behavior. This keeps your branding intact while maintaining a smooth loading experience.
Custom JavaScript Interference
Custom JavaScript can alter how the loader responds to events. If your code modifies the loader's event handlers, it might prevent the spinner from displaying correctly or responding to your actions.
Test your custom JavaScript thoroughly to identify conflicts. Make sure your code works alongside Enrollio's updated features and event system.
Additional Troubleshooting Steps
Check User Access
If someone on your team is experiencing loading issues, verify they're added to the correct client account:
- Go to the Enrollio team management page
- Search for the user by name, email, or phone in the top right
- Click Edit
- Click User Roles
- Ensure the user is added to at least one client account from the dropdown
Note: If you're not the account owner, contact your administrator to add you back to the appropriate client accounts.
Manual Cache Clearing
If the refresh button doesn't work or custom code is interfering with the loader, manually clear your browser data:
- Right-click anywhere on the screen and select "Inspect" to open developer tools
- Click the "Application" tab (you may need to click the "more" icon with two arrows to find it)
- Select "Storage" from the left sidebar
- Scroll down and click "Clear Site Data"
- Navigate to the lock icon next to the URL at the top of your browser
- Click the lock icon and select "Cookies"
- Click "Remove" to delete Enrollio's cookies
- Click "Done"
- Hard refresh the page:
- Mac: Hold Command and press R
- PC: Hold Control and press F5
