How to Link Your Privacy Policy When Collecting Family Data

A privacy policy explains how your childcare center collects, uses, and protects personal information—like names, phone numbers, and emails from prospective and current families. It's not just good practice—it's legally required under laws like GDPR, CCPA, and A2P 10DLC carrier regulations.

Enrollio gives you multiple ways to link your privacy policy wherever you're collecting data from families.

General Considerations for Privacy Policies

Before adding your privacy policy link, think through:

  • What personal data do you collect? Names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, child information, emergency contacts, etc.
  • Where do you collect family data? Enrollment pages, forms, tour booking calendars, web chat, surveys, order forms

How to Create Your Privacy Policy

You'll need a standalone page that contains your full privacy policy. Here are your options:

  1. Build a dedicated page within Enrollio (typically on your enrollment site where the URL can be easily referenced)
  2. Search Google for privacy policy templates to get started: privacy policy templates
  3. Consult your legal counsel to draft and finalize your privacy policy specific to your childcare business
