Overview
You can create a custom recording to use as your voicemail greeting or in a voicemail drop. The audio file needs to be in the right format and quality to work with all phone carriers.
What is a Custom Voicemail?
Enrollio includes pre-recorded voicemail messages and text-to-speech options. A custom voicemail is where you record your own audio and upload the file to the platform.
You can use custom audio files for:
- Voicemail greetings — what parents hear when they call and you can't answer
- Voicemail drops — pre-recorded messages you leave in a parent's voicemail (great for tour reminders or enrollment follow-ups)

After recording, you need to compress the audio so it works with all phone carriers. High-quality recordings often won't play correctly on phone systems.
Use an online audio converter to adjust the quality:
Settings to use: Select the smallest, economy, or 64 kbps option. This ensures compatibility with all carriers.
