How Email Verification Works

Mailgun checks email addresses when they first enter Enrollio through:

  • Enrollment forms
  • Tour booking calendars
  • Chat widgets
  • Manual entry

If you've enabled re-verification, all emails are rechecked every 90 days to catch addresses that have become invalid.

Checking an Email's Verification Status

  1. Open any parent or family contact record
  2. Scroll down the right sidebar
  3. Click the envelope icon

You'll see:

  • Green checkmark = Valid email
  • Red X = Invalid email (bounced, unsubscribed, doesn't exist, or too old)

The tooltip will explain why an email failed verification.

Pro Tip: If a parent's email shows as invalid but you know it's correct, ask them to double-check the spelling. Common issues include typos in the domain (gmail.com vs gmial.com) or outdated email addresses.
