The new Gift Card System allows studios to create, sell, send, track, and redeem digital gift cards—all within the platform. This update makes it easy to offer prepaid balances for rewards, refunds, promotions, or holiday sales, while keeping everything organized inside your Payments dashboard.

Studios can now build fully customizable gift card products, share them through checkout links or QR codes, manually issue gift cards without payment, and redeem them across supported checkouts.

Redeem Gift Cards at Checkout

Any checkout that supports the gift card redemption UI allows customers to:

  • Enter their gift card code

  • Apply available balance

  • Complete payments using gift card + card-on-file

How to Create a Gift Card Product

  1. Navigate to Payments → Gift Cards

  2. Select Create Gift Card Product

  3. Customize:

    - Name

    - Description

    - Amount(s)

    - Design / image

    - Inventory

    - Expiration rules (optional)

  4. Save the product

  5. Copy and share the checkout link or QR code

Your gift card is now live and ready to sell.

Checkout Links

Share the link via:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Social media

  • Your website

Embed Codes

Add a gift card checkout directly into:

  • Your pricing page

  • Class packages page

Perfect for:

Existing Checkouts

If your existing checkout supports gift card sales, simply toggle the feature on.

How to Send a Gift Card Without Payment

This feature is ideal for internal adjustments or customer support situations.

  1. Go to Payments → Gift Cards → Orders

  2. Click Send Gift Card

  3. Enter:

    - Customer name

    - Customer email

    - Gift card product

    - Amount

  4. Send

The customer will receive a digital gift card instantly—no checkout required.

How Customers Redeem Gift Cards

At supported checkouts, customers will see a Gift Card Redemption field where they can:

  1. Enter their gift card code

  2. Apply their remaining balance

  3. Complete checkout using:

    - Gift card only

    - Gift card + additional payment method

Balances carry over until fully used.

Managing & Tracking Gift Card Orders

Under Payments → Gift Cards → Orders, studios can view:

  • All issued and purchased gift cards

  • Remaining balances

  • Redemption history

  • Status (active, used, expired)

  • Gift card codes

  • Associated customer info

This helps you keep accurate records for accounting, customer service, and gift card campaigns.

  • Off-session gift card redemption (e.g., auto-billing)
