Linking Custom Values in Documents and Contracts in Enrollio

Enrollio now offers the ability to link text and date fields in Documents and Contracts to custom values. This enhancement ensures a seamless connection between document fields and contact or document records, enabling automatic updates and efficient data management once documents are signed.

Feature Overview

With this functionality, users can:

  • Link text and date fields in a document to custom values from contact or document records.
  • Automatically update the corresponding records when the document is signed.
  • Export all filled fields as a CSV file for streamlined tracking and analysis.

This feature reduces manual data entry and simplifies workflows for managing multiple documents and records.

How to Use Custom Value Linkage

  1. Access the Document Editor:
    Open the Documents Editor in Enrollio and prepare your document.

  2. Link Fields to Custom Values:

    • Add a recipient to the document.
    • Select a text or date field, and use the link button on the toolbar.

    • Choose to link the field to either:

      • A Contact Custom Value (e.g., contact name or email).

      • A Document Custom Value (e.g., document-specific identifiers).

    Pro Tip: A single field can be linked to multiple custom values if needed.

  3. Save and Send:
    Finalize the document and send it to the recipient for signing.

  4. Automatic Updates After Signing:
    Once the document is signed, all linked fields will automatically update in the corresponding contact or document records.

  5. Export Filled Data:

    • Navigate to the Dashboard.
    • Download a CSV file containing all filled fields for easy tracking and data analysis.

    • Link fields like address or date of agreement to custom values in contact records to keep data current without manual updates.

  2. Streamlined Contract Management:

    • Use document-specific custom values to track and manage details unique to each agreement.
