Select "From Number" in Workflow Builder Settings for SMS Communications
In Enrollio, you can now configure the "From Number" in the builder settings of your workflows. This feature enables businesses to manage and control which phone number is used for outbound SMS communications within different workflows, making it easier to manage interactions across departments, regions, or purposes.
Previous Behavior
Previously, users were able to configure only the "From Name" and "From Email" within workflow settings. There was no option to specify the originating phone number for SMS communications, meaning that SMS messages could only be sent from a default number.
What’s New?
With this update, you can now select the "From Number" directly within the workflow builder settings. This feature allows users to choose a specific phone number from their account for sending SMS communications. It’s particularly useful for organizations that use multiple phone numbers for various interactions, such as customer support, sales, and operations.
How It Works
Follow these steps to select a specific phone number for your workflow’s SMS communications:
- Open the Workflow: Start by opening the workflow for which you want to configure the From Number.
- Go to the "Settings" Tab: Navigate to the Settings tab within the workflow editor.
- Scroll Down to "Sender Details": In this section, you’ll find the fields for From Name, From Email, and the newly added From Number.
- Select the Number: In the From Number dropdown menu, choose the phone number you wish to use for sending SMS communications.
- Save Changes: Ensure that you save the workflow settings to apply the selected number.
