There are various reasons why a social post may fail to be successfully posted to Facebook, GMB, Instagram, or LinkedIn. One of the most common examples is a Social Account token expiring. This can happen after a time period (set by the social media program itself - such as LinkedIn account tokens expiring after 60 days and Facebook tokens expiring after 90 days) or if an account password is changed.
Below is a list of common reasons and solutions, along with the relevant error codes. This will help you troubleshoot any issues you may experience. When you navigate to the Social Planner and view “Failed” posts, you can see the error code and a message about the reason for the failure and the proposed solution.
