The Manual Call action creates a task in the Conversations > Manual Actions tab.
This task requires a team member’s manual intervention to call a contact.
It is ideal for following up with prospective or current customers in your dance studio.
After the call is made and the task is deleted, the contact will automatically advance to the next action in your workflow.
Action Name:Use "Manual Call" to designate the task that needs to be handled manually.
Action Description:The Manual Call action creates a task so that your team can call parents or guardians. This personal approach helps ensure timely follow-ups for scheduling classes, addressing inquiries, or providing additional information about your dance programs.
Example Scenario:Imagine you want to ensure that every family interested in new enrollment receives a personal follow-up call within 24 hours. Use this action to create a task called "Enrollment Follow-Up Call." Once a team member completes the call, they remove the task, allowing the workflow to continue, such as sending a welcome email or scheduling a trial session.
Create a new Workflow, or go into an existing workflow. Click "Add Action" and choose 'Manual Call".
Save and Publish the Workflow.
Create a test contact record using your own information (or navigate to your existing test contact record).
Add this test contact to the Workflow
Navigate to Contacts > Manual Actions. Click "Let's Start" in the top right corner of the screen. Enrollio will make a call (to your test contact).
Since the call will be coming from a browser you may need to click “allow microphone” to activate the permissions on your computer. After the call is complete, you can select the outcome of the call as shown below:
Now that you've successfully tested the manual call workflow with yourself, you can add contacts to this workflow. This can be done through a tag, trigger, or the Bulk Actions listed in your Contact section.
Note: If you have a large list and want to pause, you can click on the “Let’s Start” button and it will pause the sequence (there’s a 5 second rundown before the next call comes in).
