When you’re setting up a blog dedicated to your dance studio, consider the following status options:
Draft
Use this status while you’re developing your blog or crafting new content about class schedules, recital announcements, or behind-the-scenes practice sessions. Saving your work as a draft lets you refine the details until you feel ready to showcase it.
Published
When your blog is fully developed and the content is polished—say, an exciting feature on a new dance routine or a spotlight on your upcoming recital—you can hit the Publish button. This action not only makes your blog live but also allows you to add SEO meta details to attract more local families.
Delete
If you have outdated or irrelevant content (for example, an old event recap or class schedule that no longer applies), you can choose to delete the blog. This keeps your dance studio’s online presence fresh and current.
Each individual blog post on your studio’s site also comes with its own set of statuses to help you manage your content journey:
Save as Draft
Use this option when a specific post isn’t quite ready for students and parents. For example, if you’re still refining details for a story about a recent dance competition or updating class information, save the post as a draft. Even if a post was once published, you can update it by selecting the "Update Post" option and then choosing to save it as a draft again.
Publish
When a blog post—for instance, a new class announcement or teacher spotlight—is ready for your audience, select Publish. You can also choose a publish date (either from the past or current day) to help organize and display your content on the live blog URL.
Schedule and Publish
In cases where you want your content to appear on a future date (for example, to promote an upcoming summer dance camp), you can use the Schedule and Publish option. Set your desired future date, and your post will automatically go live when the time comes.
Delete
If a blog post no longer fits your studio’s current messaging—perhaps a promotional post for an event that has passed—you have the option to delete it from your list view, keeping your content relevant and streamlined.
Archive / Unarchive Post
Should you want to temporarily remove a post from the list view without permanently deleting it (for instance, featuring a past recital that you’d like to preserve but not display regularly), you can archive the post. Archiving does not remove the content from the live URL; if you decide to bring it back fully, use the "Update Blog Post" feature and continue editing to save it as a draft.
By understanding and effectively using these statuses on Enrollio, you can ensure that your dance studio’s blog remains current, engaging, and perfectly in tune with your audience’s needs. Enjoy creating and sharing your stories with the confidence that your online content workflow is smooth and under control!
