The Goal Event action enables you to define and track important objectives within your workflow.
When a contact achieves the goal (for example, a parent clicks a “Register Now” link or a student’s tag updates to “Enrolled”), Enrollio can automatically:
Move them to a designated next step.
Skip further actions.
End the workflow entirely.
This automation lets you tailor follow-ups according to the interests and actions of your families, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience at your studio.
Name your action with a descriptive title (e.g., "Workshop Registration Goal" or "Trial Class Confirmation").
Use the Goal Event action to define and track specific objectives—such as a parent opening an email about a dance recital or a student clicking on a link to book a free trial class.
When the set goal is met, Enrollio automatically moves the contact to a specified step in the workflow—like sending a welcome email or pre-class details.
This intelligent automation helps keep your communications running smoothly and ensures your studio’s administrative tasks are handled effortlessly.
Choose the Action Type:• Select "Goal Event" from the available actions within your Enrollio workflow builder.
Name Your Action:• Enter a descriptive name such as "Pre-Class Reminder Goal" or "Enrollment Follow-Up."
Select the Goal Event:• Choose from the following supported event types:
Email Events: When a contact opens, clicks, or unsubscribes from an email (e.g., opening an email about an upcoming recital).
Trigger Link Click: When a contact clicks on a specific link (like a “Book Your Class” or “Register for Workshop” link in your newsletter).
Contact Tags: When a specific tag is added or removed (for instance, when a contact is tagged as “Enrolled” or “Trial Registered”).
Appointment Status: When an appointment status for a class or consultation changes (like a dance lesson booking moving to new, confirmed, or attended statuses).
Define the Goal Criteria:• Specify the precise conditions that must be met for the goal to trigger. For example, if using an email event, you might set the goal to trigger when a parent clicks on the “Reserve Your Spot” link in a workshop announcement.
Determine Workflow Response:• Decide how the workflow should adjust once the goal is met:
Move to the next step.
Skip certain actions and proceed directly to a specific step.
End the workflow if the goal is the final objective.
Handle Unmet Goal Conditions:• Choose how to proceed if a contact reaches the goal step without having met the goal:
End the workflow.
Continue with the workflow regardless.
Wait until the goal is met.
Save and Activate:• Save your settings and activate the workflow to start monitoring contacts as they progress towards the goal.

Course Registration: Automatically trigger a follow-up workflow when a parent clicks the link to register their child for a dance class.
Content Engagement: Set up a trigger for when a contact clicks on a blog post about dance tips, moving them to a nurturing workflow that shares more studio news.
Contact Tag Added:• The contact moves to the goal step when a specified tag is added (for example, when a tag such as “Enrolled” or “Trial Class” is applied).

Lifecycle Tracking: Use tags such as “Prospective”, “Confirmed”, or “Attended” to guide contacts through different automated workflows that mirror your studio’s class schedules and events.
For appointment status goals, select the specific Calendar related to your classes and pick one or more statuses:
New: The contact is moved to the goal step when their class booking is marked as "New" (e.g., a parent books a trial dance class).
Confirmed: The contact is advanced when the appointment status becomes "Confirmed" (e.g., a workshop or recital booking is confirmed).
Showed: The contact is moved when they attend the class or event (e.g., the student attends their first dance lesson).
Usage Cases:
Onboarding New Students: Once a trial class appointment is confirmed, move the contact to receive a welcome package with studio information and class schedules.
Workshop Follow-Up: Automatically move contacts who attend a dance workshop to a follow-up workflow where you share next steps and further class opportunities.
Event Reminders: Trigger a workflow when an appointment status changes to “Confirmed,” ensuring parents receive timely reminders and additional information about upcoming studio events.
